WELCOME! Our purpose at Sunshine Specialties is to assist you in learning to build your own health by providing practical knowledge on the effective uses of fresh air, pure water, adequate rest, chemical-free enzyme active foods (including herbs), physical activity, abundant sunshine, a healthy outlook and the Word of God so you will be well and able to care for yourself and others. We hope you experience and learn to maintain the blessings of health.

To be lovingly cared for is always appreciated & our variety of refreshing services help build health in your spirit, soul and body. Gift certificates are available for those on your shopping list. As you review the selection of services and products, feel free to call or email with any questions or schedule an appointment.

Education is a very important part of taking responsibility for one's health decisions. To meet this need, we offer a lending library, brochures, books for sale, social media outreach and group classes. Private consultations are also available by appointment and provide education regarding available historical options from herbal and nutritional perspective. We are not medical doctors, nor do we act as such. As part of a wellness team, all information provided is to empower each person with practical knowledge to make better IN.FORM choices for your own health. God has provided tools to take care of yourself and there is no need to prolong illness or be destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6) when truth will make you free!

We began seeking knowledge about herbs and nutrition after personal experiences in 1990 and have since been actively sharing what we have learned. Sunshine Specialties, Inc was founded in 1993 after Desiree completed massage therapy training to extend wellness services to others. We invite you to learn and grow with us as we continue to walk the path of helping ourselves and those we meet embrace health and wisdom to live life as fully as possible. Our carefully selected health products and services are designed to help you in life's journey by supporting inherent natural processes.

Arrival: Retail shoppers welcome during regular business hours. It is recommended to call ahead with your order to verify product stock availability. Services are by appointment only. If you need to complete paperwork, please arrive 10 minutes prior to appointment. If you are late for an appointment, you will be responsible for payment of the scheduled service and we will accommodate with the remaining time available. If we are running late, your full service will be provided, or a shorter service at a lesser price.

Appointments / Rescheduling / Missed: We understand schedule changes can sometimes not be avoided. Our appointment system sends reminders via text & email (as provided) 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cannot keep an appointment, please call or text as soon as possible so we may inform stand-by clients of availability. If you miss an appointment and have not called in prior to the appointment to cancel or reschedule, there will be a 50% service charge to your account.

Gratuities and Tips: May be given at your discretion in appreciation of outstanding service! 100% of tips are passed to your service practitioner.

Parking: Parking is available behind the building in the west lot.

Payment: We accept cash, Discover, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and good checks as payment. Checks are subject to a $50 fee if returned.

Desiree Yoder, CMT, CATP, IN.FORM coach Certified Massage Therapist and co-founder of Sunshine Specialties. Initially trained in 1992 and continuing studies through the present, she also taught massage from 2000-2007. She currently is available for reflexology, massage therapy, IN.FORM coaching and iridology consultations.

Donna Yoder, CMT, CATP, IN.FORM coach Certified Massage Therapist & co-founder of Sunshine Specialties whose love for massage spans to the 1980's using foot massage to ease colic pains in adults and children. Continuing studies and personal relief have only increased her appreciation of massage therapy, herbal nutrition and mineral wraps as wellness modalities.

Jessica Schipp, RN, MP, CATP Massage Practitioner since completing courses with Desiree in 2005-2007 and Certified Authentic Touch Practitioner. An anatomy fanatic who enjoys giving and receiving massage, Jessica's muscle specific knowledge enables her to help clients with a variety of concerns. Jessica is available by appointment for therapeutic massage and authentic touch therapy.

Lisa Yoder, AWT, CATP, IN.FORM coach Certified Authentic Touch Practitioner, Spa Tech with advanced wrap skills and most often the friendly voice answering the phone. Lisa is an aromatherapy enthusiast who hand-crafts natural soaps and candles carried in local stores and is available by appointment for eSpas, Authentic Touch, saunas and Suddenly Slender facial and body wraps.
